BANG YOUR HEAD

It’s been a hell of a week for me, between my soul-​crushing day job and busily plan­ning for my birthday (I’m turning 25 on the 18^th!!!), so I wanted to do a quick, JWZ–style video run­down of one of my most favorite ways of burning off frus­tra­tion: headbanging.

There’s some pretty bad music on some of these, but that’s what you get when you take a whirl­wind tour of YouTube! I highly rec­om­mend playing them all at once and scrolling up and down furi­ously for max­imum metal intensity.

You’re never too old to thrash your head around…

…or too young…

…or too drunk…

…or too sleepy.

Robots (this one’s called Shimon and it plays the marimba!) can do it…

…and hordes of appar­ently radioac­tive bunnies…

…and Santas (if you were good this year).

Elephants actu­ally have good rhythm, better than mine, and are known to dance and, sur­prise, headbang.

Cats can, too, but they look epileptic…

…and birds, some species of which are totally into dancing and rhythm!

This one is my favorite, there’s a guy in a Speedo building a fire while his side­kick wind­mills like a crazy man in the background.
